    Wilder murders any old dossers.

Fury, Lewis, Vitali and Wlad are only fighters who could defeat him in history of HW division.

This match up is dead in the water before it starts , Wilders chin isn’t great but even he was harder to land cleaner on then Shavers , he fought like one guy who was known for power and got stopped in 6 by Ron Lyle .
You mean the same Ortiz who barely beat Charles Martin? So Wilder beat a old Ortiz and a bunch of other guys that everybody else knocked out too.Shavers also beat guys like Roy "Tiger" Williams, Howard Smith, (Shavers is the only person to stop these guys) Jimmy Young (A young Jimmy Young but still). Shavers fought better people than Wilder. Shavers fought in a better era. Shavers fought in a era where people were in shape. Shavers lands his right hand and Wilder does night night.

          -Undoubtedly a KO artist
          -Only beaten by one man
          -Height & reach huge advantage
          -Durability

I don't see anything "much better" there.
Shavers would have been vaporized early.
There are countless belts now. There was only 1 belt until the late 70s I believe.
Wilder is a KO artist because of what? Because he stopped old Luis Ortiz?
Quarry beat Buster Mathis Sr, Ron Lyle, Earnie Shavers, Mac Foster, Larry Middleton,
Being taller than somebody doesn't give you a "advantaged"
Wilder is durable? Lol since when? The reason Wilder only lost to "1" man is because Wilder fights in a poor era for heavyweights and even then he rarely tries to fight the best of this era. Wilder is what 36 years old and has only beat Ortiz? Come on dude.

Shavers fought and beat better fighters than Wilder has.

Ortiz started his career late and was dead-center prime when Wilder knicked him out, and Ortiz was one of the best of this generation. The generation of Giants!

Well, first off, you must be pretty ******.
Secondly, nothing I've ever written, published or spoken on the subject of combat sport is "just silly".
Do you know Luis Ortiz? Have you watched him train? Are you at all familiar with his amateur and professional career and those of his opponents?
                A: No.
So here's an opportunity to learn. Don't blow it with willful ignorance or you'll never make lead fry cook.

                5 years block 2018 - 2023 THIS generation's heavyweights:

                1. Tyson Fury
                2. Deontay Wilder
                3. Oleksandr Usyk
                4. Anthony Joshua
                5. Andy Ruiz Jr
                6. Luis Ortiz
                7. Zhilei Zhang
                8. Dillian Whyte
                9. Joe Joyce
                10.Alexander Povetkin

The 10 best, in perfect order, from a 5 year field of more than 3,000 professional heavyweights.

Joseph Parker, Kubrat Pulev, Filip Hrgovic, Frank Sanchez, Michael Hunter, Daniel Dubois and Jarrell Miller just miss the cut for the timeframe discussed.

                    Wilder's an Olympic bronze medalist.

There's no such thing as an Olympic medalist with no skill, so I think you guys are underrating him.

Wilder's the better athlete by far.

He's quicker, faster, taller, longer reach, has more durability, and a better chin.

I just don't see the love for Shavers here other than nostalgia.

Yeah just like Ortiz picked fat Andy Ruiz apart. Lol who did Ortiz ever beat? Tony Thompson and Bryant Jennings? Wait I know, Ortiz beat Christian Hammer. Yeah Ortiz has to be one of the greatest fighters of all time. You have no clue to what you are talking about do you kid? Shavers would knock out Ortiz and Wilder in the same night.
