I prefer a simple answer to this question. It is just simply the time for the Ukrainians and Russians to dominate the heavyweight division. Life is based on cycles, change is constant, and trends come and go. Twenty years from now, I'm sure some other country will dominate the scene.

Now that was an objective post! I'd like to see more such unbiased, independent thinking posts here.

You know, few actually are aware, but it was the Yugoslav partisans' succesful defence against the Germans that also delayed their attack on Russia. So I've been told anyway.
