Canelo would stop him in under 6 rounds. First, Jermall hasn't fought in nearly 27 months. Also, he would be fighting at a weight division that he has never fought before.

Then he would need a tune up fight in order to work on getting his conditioning back and lastly he would have less than 12 weeks in order to prepare for the fight.

While it's a very marketable fight for both the DAZN and Showtime but at the same time Mall Charlo wouldn't be ready for it. The fighter Canelo should be fighting on Mexican Independence Day is David Benavidez; Not Jermall Charlo because he would be too rusty.

However and very unfortunately, Benavidez is a risk that Alvarez will not take.

You are right; Which is why Canelo should be fighting David Benavidez on that Mexican Independence Holiday instead. However, we already he won't because the boy is too scurrred. He is coward!

After a two year layoff; It would be Hell for Charlo's body to get down to 168 and in fighting shape without a tune up before a bout with Canelo in September of this year. He simply won't be ready.

You got that right and they know more about the promotions and more interested in the promoters themselves since Hearn came on the scene then the fighters themselves . Lol

He is pursuing a Charlo fight simply because its a name fighter who is beatable right now. I would not exaggerate and call this a cherry pick fight because Charlo is an excellent opponent who is natually bigger than Canelo (and could well beat him given Canelo's recent form), but Charlo is certainly being regarded by Team Canelo as a more winnable fight relative to Bivol or Benavidez.
Yeah, but It is nowhere near as a cherry pick as putting a rehydration clause on Ryan effing Garcia the youtuber instead of fighting the Haneys and Shakurs ...

And like I said, Nelo paid his due to the sport and is past his prime. I'm tired of the double standards...
Canelo IS the fighter who has Taken more risks than any others current active fighter ...
