"Obviously, they wanted to fight Dmitry Bivol. We couldn’t get that one.."

I presume they couldn't get Bivol to agree to enough stipulations so as to optimize Canelo's chances in the rematch (perhaps a rehydration clause at 168).

As for Charlo, even tho Jermall has looked less than stellar in a few of his wins and he's been inactive, I think there would be a lot of spite displayed in the ring and he'd provide an entertaining performance in a losing effort.

Canelo says “ you guys need to stop waiting for a pay day. Fight each other and I’ll fight the winner.

Charlo proceeds to do the exact opposite. Fights nobody for 2 years following a horrible performance to a C level fighter. Gets fat and is clinically depressed.

Canelo decides- Charlo is now worthy of the payday and has proven himself.

It’s really not too hard to see what’s going on here right? Benavidez is too much of a threat, Charlo is at the worst point of his career so now Canelo suddenly grew the balls that he didn’t have when they were both at middleweight.

If it’s Charlo vs Andrade every one will say what a great fight! But since is Canelo vs Charlo, all of the sudden Charlo is not at the level? GTFOOH with your ignorant comments, this is not about a Mex vs a black fighter, this is about boxing.

Serious question — which one is the good brother again?

I think it would be hilarious if Charlo got his ish together and skinned Canelo alive.

C'mon Canelo, keep looking. Take some sort of a risk for god's sake. Charlo is shot to all hell with all that inactivity, you'll never escape the criticism.

This is really one of the most disgraceful ducks in boxing history. Canelo needs to be condemned for it, anyone defending this is not a boxing fan.
Usually there is some sort of escape angle for ducks but this was air tight, zero excuses to chose Charlo over Benavidez. Shameless cowardice, and fanboys STILL defend him.

Hearn is a snake , he talks about 'safe' weights when it suits but was asking Bivol to come down to 168lbs a weight that Bivol has NEVER made as a pro.!
