Well by that theory, Fury should rightly demand a much bigger percentage, considering his purse bids have been over £30m and Usyk's was £8m.

If Usyk wanted to use that tactic for a potential Joyce fight then they shouldn't complain about Fury doing it. It's pretty much proven with the purse bids that 70/30 was pretty fair.

Usyk v Fury isn't an ordered fight. It's a voluntary. Both are putting their title(s) on the line.

Usyk's team used that tactic because he didn't want to fight Joyce. He was already in line to Joshua and didn't need an interim title. So he threatened to price himself out of a Joyce fight.

If you can't get the guy to fight at Wembley or any of the other UK locations because there's not enough money, you need someone with deep enough pockets to put on an event that puts Usyk v Greedy Belly AND Joshua v Wilder on the same card. I dunno what makes peoples opinions on here more valid than a subreddit based on boxing for boxing fans it's not even about boxing it's about ethics/morals which Usyk seems to be all about until you grease his palm then it's whatever to him.
