YES, iI have see him fight and all fighters have flaws, some more than others. I'll tell you this, canelo's would never fight Morrell Jr, and if he does he will be beat up to a pulp.

Not my standards, he could weight 200 pounds but trim down to ww or whatever division he fought.

Lara is a lazy man with poor work rate, so it was easy to "beat" him on the score cards. Canelo doesn`t like the guys with the high work rate, because they make him look even worse than he is. He figured out that in Bivol fight forever.

Benavidez likes to be busy and he has a great stamina, so it is very likely that he beats Canelo so bad, that he even gets a decision ( like Bivol did).

Maybe he didn't have to fight Lara but Lara made it happen with the call out. The Trout fight had to happen because of the Cotto win.

At this point, Canelo not fighting Benavidez looks like a major duck. Fan Friendly fight, lucrative, and weve never seen Canelo fight a volume puncher that is bigger than him. Great 50/50 fight on paper regardless of what we think is the out come.

And on the side note......why are you waiting on MvC4? I'd rather they make a modern remake of MvC2......if they do it correct that will get all the old heads and new generations money.

There is no reason now Canelo should not fight Benavides. Charlo has not fought in almost two years and would have to come in weight. Benavides has all the momentum now.

Canelo is OLD. Why do people have a hard time believing that?

I don't know if ever get a modern remake of MvC2. If it did, it'd imply a retweak. And I think something would be lost in the process. Part of what makes Marvel vs. Capcom 2 "MAHVEL" is the sheer chaos of unbalanced ruthlessness that came as a byproduct of cramming all the legacy characters into one game and leaving it for the masses to fend for themselves. It was organic. Nowadays, everything gets crafted, balanced, and if it gets missed...patched. If fighting games were musical genres, the Marvel community would surely be street rap. Those old videos of the MVC2 days with the crowd and the hype look like something out of Eminem's "8 mile".

Old? 32 years and he's old. That's an excuse, and if he feels old he should retire, vacate and let other youngers fighters move up the ladder. GGG, kovalev, Lara, Badou, they're old. By your logic, Crawford should be retired. What you're seeing in ginger performance now, it is not a decline, it is what he is, a good boxer with a granite chin, he is not an elite fighter, but his competition has gone up a notch or two, almost 9 years ago he fought fraud, Trout then Lara, you saw what happened. For the next decade he fought nothing but domestic-level fighters or washed up past their prime. Until he fought bivol, and of course he lost by a mile, and the judges almost gave him the fight. How old was fraud when he fought canelo? For how many years, canelo waited out ggg? He can't do this with benavidez, it's OK if he feels he can't overcome the American, by the way, he ain't Mexican he was born in the USA and his mother is Ecuadorian/Dominican, and his father is Mexican. So, he can drop the none Mexican opponent

Hmmm, when I was 32 I looked 19. I weighted almost the same. Some people age early, some later. I was at my peak at 40. I could date 21 year olds cause I looked young. That said, some age quicker. Look at Mike Tyson. No one could touch him before 23 NO ONE. After 25 he wasn’t the same.
Some men like Hopkins were good under 30 but far better above 30. Canelo peaked at 30 and is drastically falling now. I believe Canelo and Tyson were knocking out grown men at 15-16. They peaked early. Which means they fizzle out EARLY. Hopkins just got better and better.
