Do Canelo fans finally admit he is ducking Benavidez?

Canelo is clearly ducking him but I actually think the fight gets done since the backlash of him facing Jack or Charlo. I think Canelo and his team tend to throw out names to see the reactions.

Then again, he's not a huge puncher, and you know the cards are always in canelo's favor, no matter what, you saw how dominant he was and still he won a razor-thin decision on the cards.
I know what you mean, they almost robbed him.

I wanted to say I never believed Canelo could beat Bivol clearly.

Yes, Canelo prolonged the GGG by dropping his belt and choosing to fight 2 fighters that have ZERO chance at beating Canelo.

Saying Benavidez is not a challenge is an opinion at this point, not facts. The fights have to happen in the ring. Maybe we should just cancel boxing and go straight to you for all the answers since you clearly now all the results beforehand.

There will also be someone else? Yes there will be, this is a sport where there are always challanges and fights to be made or else the sport will die.

If all Boricua fans have the same thought process as you it is no wonder why the state of Puerto Rican boxing is basically non-existent now.
I mean as a risk. He didn’t HAVE to fight Lara or Trout and gone straight for the paydays. I’d bet most people thought he wouldn’ fight them, and he did. Canelo is not ducking Benavidez, I’m sure he’ll fight him before he retires. But ducking? Naaaaaaah.

I haven't read the whole thread but my 2cents...
Maybe Canelo fights Benavidez before he retires. People were complaining how long it took for Pacquiao and Mayweather to fight and it made big bucks when it did.
Maybe Canelo wants to imitate this scenario. The thing is....Canelo isn't Mayweather.
Mayweather aged well because he always took good care of himself, didn't get into slugfests (GGG etc), didn't focus on power first but on skills (like Canelo has now, so more wear and tear) and he never drank unlike Canelo (seeing Canelo drunk in public is a bad look IMO..)

Waiting to make these fights happen will be a mistake, it favors his opponents, not him.

Yes, you're a heavyweight, a short heavyweight I might add, but a heavyweight nonetheless. Contact sport is about the weight, not how tall you are. Dwight Qawi fought at 175/190 and HW and he was like 5'6". By the way, are you really 5"2" and weight 250?

LOL, no but you missed my point. I’m not going to explain it to you.

Look at all the BIG talk about Munguia and Ramirez . I knew Bivol would whip Ramirez. I also new we would see what Munguia really was. Morells no different except he hasn’t fought enough. Let’s see if they put him in there with anything else but tomato cans.
I don't thinkhe has fought tomatoes can at all, other than his first fight. You know who fought tomatoes can on their first 14 fights? benavidez and canelo. benavidez started fighting the same competition Morell jr has faced, after his 15/16 fights, and canelo, please, just see what he goes after and supposedly he is the face of boxing. Check the record of those 9 boxers, DMJ has faced, they're about 166-18 and three were undefeated. Find me one, only one SMW with that kind of opposition, past or present in only 9 fights, just one. He would mop the floor with canelo, benavidez would be a little harder.

No I didn't miss your point, if you train you might be a flyweight, but if you weight 250 you're a heavyweight, period. The ginger can fight at LHW with no problem, that is his natural weight give or take a pound.

Hmmm, have you seen Morrel fight? Can you see his flaws? Or do you have to read someone else’s opinion. He has many flaws

Still don’t get it do you. By your standards ODH is a heavyweight.
