I don’t see Benividas or Morrel jumping at an opportunity to fight ANY lite heavyweight or cruiser weight. I wonder why?
Smh, because they are super middle weights like Canelo, DUH!!

If Canelo wants the real challenge, why not fighting Beterbiev for 3 belts at 175?

Morell jr will outgrow 168, and would campaign at 175-190 soon enough, his team is looking for recognition at a weight that he's comfortable with, and canelo is the champ, I don't think ginger would consider a fight with Morell jr, but the Cuban vs benavidez would be huge. I don't know about benavidez, he's young and with a little bit of discipline he can stay at the weight for a couple of years, or move up after if he fights canelo. About canelo fighting bivol, I'm pretty sure they miscalculated their chances. Yes, he looked ordinary in his previous fight, but if they watch the Barrera fight a few years ago, where all his arsenal was on display, they wouldn't have gone after him, didn't fit the profile.

He's a lightheavy for sure, he weighted 177.4 pounds for the Lara fight eons ago. He gained 22.4 pounds in a day. Of course, he is a Light heavyweight

He loss and judges were ready to give him the victory. And believe me, if he were to fight him again, without any crazy demands, credit should he get.
I have been following Bivol since he picked belt. I have seen all his championship fights. never believed canelo would beat him. The big majority of the guys here called me crazy.

I was in doubt because canelo's people never take a fight where the outcome is doubted, by the same token I saw his Barrera fight and ginger couldn't beat that version of bivol. Then again, he's not a huge puncher, and you know the cards are always in canelo's favor, no matter what, you saw how dominant he was and still he won a razor-thin decision on the cards.

It's obvious that Canelo wants no piece of Benevidez. It's the obvious fight for Canelo to make for September.

I weight 250 and I’m 5’2. Does that make me a heavyweight too LOL.

Canelo’s ARROGANCE got him whipped. He thought everyone he hits will “wilt”. Not true. He hit Bivol and Bivol acted like a mosquito hit him.
Canelo maybe able to whip that cruiser ON POINTS but if he gets hit solid he will find out the hard way that weight divisions exist for a reason. I seriously doubt he can hurt a cruiser. I’m doubting he can ever beat him on points cause he can’t last 12 rounds
