Let's just take Loma/Haney for a second; Many of you cried foul when Vasiliy lost but none of you even bothered to purchase his PPV. So how do we as boxing fans expect to get the fights that we want to see but won't even support the sport?
If they’re just going to put crap on the undercard then don’t even bother having an undercard.

Simply charge $84.99 for the one fight and end it. That’s essentially what they’re doing anyway.

God forbid they give fans the modern day equivalent ofJulio Cesar Chavez and Felix Trinidad defending their belts on the same show like Don King used to do.

I'd pay even if it were $200 - amazing fight!

There are people in this thread that think the only way to support boxers is to give them money. Pretend I posted a reaction face of a thinking man or something funny.

Therefore, your voice don't count anyhow; Since you neither support the fighters or the sport you claim to love.
I've actually never streamed a fight illegally, and purchased every PPV fight I've ever watched. Assuming does your crap argument no favors.

If you actually supported the fighters and sport, you'd be complaining about corruption and robberies too. Don't be a hypocrite. People who support price gouging making boxing inaccessible to a significant percentage of boxing fans and are willing to ignore corruption don't get to claim that they support fighters or boxing. You are absolutely the sort of "fan" who is ruining boxing.

I almost never buy the pay-per-view but I watch the fight at the local bar. Usually it's only about 20 bucks. But it's still supporting the fighters.

The good ol' days of stacked Don King cards ............For me to purchase a PPV now the undercard has to be at least good or its getting streamed . BTW paying for ESPN +, showtime, DAZN is supporting the sport, but I am not going to get bent over and over pay for a PPV just cause ....

I have the ability to stream this fight like all the others. But this one I’m paying for. I’m supporting the best fighting the best.

It won't sell better than Tank vs Garcia, this fight is for more hardcore fans.

This fight may be the exception but when huge PPV's happen many times streams freeze constantly during the main event. I will catch this at a sports bar or a casino.

Did you say price gouging? The Haney/Loma fight was sold at a very reasonable price of $59.99. However at the same time, the fight only did 150,000 buys simply due to the fact that many of you so-called boxing fans just simply refused to purchase the fight.

The promoters and boxers don't have a choice but to price gouge due to low consumption. Since, so many of you boxing fans are streaming these pay per view fights for free; They are forced to overcharge the public in order to compensate for the loss profits and revenue from these fights.

The best way to combat price gouging is to increase demand by purchasing these PPV events in order for the prices to go down. Boxing fans can purchase at least one pay per view a year. You guys like to buy what you want and then beg for what you need.
