This came for all the way from left field. I know they were saying that Bivol might not be next but Jack for a title in another division is a stretch. But not the first time the Canelo's camp explored a CW fight.

If this fight ever takes place what a farce that would be, he couldn't beat Bivol at 175, so he's going to move up to 185, a catch weight rather than fight the champ at the divisions 200 pound limit?
The crazy thing is that any other fighter would be praised for making such a move, in going after another title at a heavier weight division.
But this seems to be like such a charade, in which he's trying to make further boxing history, but by fighting a champion who is almost 40 years old.
Badou Jack has also been through a slew of wars in his boxing career, this appears to be Canelo revisiting the Makabu fight all over again.
The fighter whom Jack took the title from in his last fight, and a fight that never happened, because of all of the back lash that Canelo received for going after another heavier, but underwhelming champion.

He will basically be 40 when the fight happens. Canelo and Eddie miscalculated badly here. They underestimated the backlash that will happen and took the boxing community for fools and did not realized they will see right through this charade. This is damage his legacy.

Canelo has done it many times before and got called out on it, but it doesnt matter. People will still pay money to watch the fight, regardless of his opponents age. He is a draw, and he brings money to the table.

I heard Bivol wanted more but can't confirm just rumor....on a side note no Floyd opponent ever got 10mil never!!!
