Arum hurt Bud's negotiating power by stating publicly that he was losing money on him because he doesn't draw outside of Nebraska. And the bottom line for all these fights is to get a return on investment, no public interest, no financial gain.

That stated, Bud has no choice but to be the secondary when matched against Spence, its one belt vs three, plus Spence is more popular than Crawford. So I can understand when a top rated fighter like Crawford, who BTW doesn't fill a venue outside of his home turf wanting equal footage with the more popular fighter, but in the business of boxing, it just doesn't work out that way and everyone (Networks, Promoters etc..) involved understands that.

Finally, I believe Spence will get it done in a major way - Crawford will continue to be second best which isn't so bad because they're both well above the rest of the pack. Crawford has been AWESOME against the competition he's faced so far - But Spence is a different kind of animal.

Spence by UD or TKO in the 12th.

Tell us about it Errol. Dud never wanted the fight. He just wanted a retirement package. Crawford deliberately priced himself out of the fight. He knew Al was never going to pay him a $25 Mil guarantee. The PBC doesn't do guaranteed contracts.

Bob Arum deliberately built Terence Bud Crawford up just so he could tear him down by paying him more than his actual worth. Just so he could keep him away from Al Haymon and the PBC.

I can’t wait for the pressers. Especially the fight week one! A lot will be revealed as to why this fight was delayed. All fingers will point to Bud. Once they get into weight cut and kill mode, some **** gonna get brought up. Even the hostility Bomac and Bernie has shown to Team Spence over the years.

Crawford was negotiating for the Spence fight and went and fought David. He had a foot out of the negotiations but should had said so that he was going to make money on a lesser foe.

                3. Get a belt at 147 first
                4. Let me clean up my side of the street first
                5. Take 30% or whatever we give you
                6. Sign with Al

Fight is made, y’all fake business degree folks can do us the favor of shutting up and stop volunteering your actual lack of business education. Thanks.

First of all, I don't see anyone "lavishing praise" on Bud's welterweight resume. I'm just pointing out the facts.

But since we are on the subject, here's where that agenda is flawed........Crawford is 39-0....only 7 of those fights are at welterweight. Crawford's value to the sport is from his complete body of work..... These man fans want us to ignore any accomplishment and just focus on those 7 fights at 147lbs.......which is silly because they didn't do it for Danny Garcia who lost to every elite fighter he's faced since leaving 140.... They didn't do it for Mikey Garcia who didn't have a single fight at welterweight before getting a title shot vs EJ.......

And they didn't do it for Errol Spence Jr. who started his career at 154 then dropped to 147 to become a contender for a world title. Hell Spence is talking about fighting Canelo after Crawford.....Not once has his fans brought up he did nothing at 154 (most don't even know he fought there). Not one of his fans bring up that he has work to do at 160. Not one of his fans bring up that he's never fought at 168lbs.........The double standard is hilarious. Crawford move up in the ranks as he won titles and got the Lineal from the divisions he was in. That deserves respect, but instead, he's given less respect as a fighter than Jaron Ennis or Vergil Ortiz......individuals who've won NOTHING.

Now let's look at the opposition......

Crawford's 7 welterweight opponents.....all but one were ranked #6 or better in the division when he fought them.
Jeff Horn (champ), Benavidez (#6), Khan (unranked), Kavaliauskas (#6), Brook (#5), Porter (#4), Avaneysan (#6).
Amir Khan being the only unranked opponent, that fight only happened because Danny Garcia and camp turned down an official offer to fight Crawford. Top Rank needed an opponent for the date they had already solidified.
-Also, of those names- 4 of them are former world champs (or current at the time of the fight). 3 of them were undefeated going into the fight. & 3 of them were mandated.

Now Let's look at Spence's welterweight opponents since Crawford came to the division.
6 opponents....2 of them were unranked. Petereson (unranked), Campos (#8), M.Garcia (unranked), Porter (champ), D.Garcia (#6), Ugas (champ). Only undefeated opponent was the 135 lb'er who came up 2 divisions (Mikey), 4 former champs (or current at the time of fight). None were mandated (or maybe Campos was, I can't remember).

The only difference in their competition is that Spence fought names that American fans recognize, but as far as opponents and rankings.....Crawford is right there with Spence, but his resume is brushed off as "cherry picking" but Spence who has avoided 4 mandatory fights since becoming a champ after beating Brook, is doing the "heavy lifting".......

Again, as a boxing fan, I see the B.S.

It's weird to look at a fight that many of the people involved of the sport are calling it a 50/50 fight, but then you look at a boxing forum to see them try to make it see like one fighter doesn't belong in the ring with the other. Both Spence fans and Crawford fans do this.......

Spence saying what I already told NSB for years.

Crawford refused to accept his B-Side. That's why it took so long.
