This Villa fella is not afraid to trade, and so is Ennis, to be fair.
And that could be the problem. Ellis traded also, but still aware of dangers that lurked
and thus moved around and executed defensive tactics, which made it a close fight.

And now I'll be curious to know if Ennis would make adjustments once he sees
the guy in front of him is a different beast.
Would he fight like he fought Karen, who he tried to drop on the canvas the entire fight?

Villa is a very fun fighter to watch. It would be great for him to become a top 10 WW. But I don’t think it’s going to happen vs Ennis. Unlike Karen, Villa is there to be hit, he’s a fighter and will come to fight. This will benefit Ennis, as he’s also a fighter who comes to fight.

Now if Villa can upset Ennis, that would be incredible and he will need to be looked at as a way more serious contender.

You honestly think usyk has a better resume than fury? Yes, he was undisputed but in the weakest div in boxing. Won 3 major belts at HW by beating hype job Joshua. Fury fought wilder 3x. That is extremely hard to do without getting KOd. That alone it’s better than usyk entire resume.

I really like the look of this. This is what should happen. With the top 2 fighting each other, the contenders have to fight like crabs, knowing everyone wants to drag the other guys down & climb on top of them to be no 1 contender. Roiman Villa proved v Rashidi that he is legit, he is no joke. Problem is that he benefitted from Rashidi taking him lightly. Safe to say Jaron will not make that mistake so Roiman gotta step it up. On the positive side, I'm sure Roiman can afford a longer, better training camp for Jaron.

Joshua has always been much better than Wilder.

Boots won't have to worry about Villa moving around like Chukhadzhian. And Villa can crack. I don't see him beating Boots, but it will be a fun fight. A definite streamer / pizza thing.
