As boxing fans, we should know that crazier upsets have happened. Stave off mega fights (Beterbiev vs Canelo/Bivol) long enough, the top guys can eventually get caught or have a bad night). I still expect Beterbiev to win, but let's not act like upsets are impossible.

It's been years now that Beterbiev is described as someone who's aging and fading, but he keeps eating his opponents' best punches and knocking the shìt out of them.

Smith, whose best win is a knockout of an injured and REALLY fading George Groves, will look, and probably end like a deer in front of a freight train.

i wouldnt count him out yet, yarde was stopped by kovalev with a jab LMAO, but gave beterbiev a good fight imho.. styles make fights and hopefully this is a good one..

I wouldn't go that far.
Callum is bigger and hungrier than Joe.
Joe was talking post-boxing life before facing Beterbiev.
Callum has a more proven chin.
I think Canelo's combo of SPEED and power froze him.
If there's one thing Beterbiev doesn't have,
It's speed.
Should be a fun night in August.

I think his best shot is to be aggressive if he starts backing up or gets backed up I don't really give him much of a chance at all.
He doesn't handle pressure well. I've seen 3 opponents stick it on him he lost 2 (Ryder decision was bs) and looked rubbish in the other against a late replacement.
