Haney reaching out to Hearn abought fighting Prograis!

If you think he losses that is cool but I don't want to hear no hate if he goes up and goes straight after Prograis. Nobody wants that smoke!
I'm serious don't give me that he is ducking Tank & Shakur or whoever. Prograis is bigger, more proven and dangerous than both of them.
This guys proven through & through, none of this fantasy eye-test, guessing game stuff.

I want to see it, two of my favourite fighters on top of their game.

It seems clear Haney wants to take hard fights.

People will find a way to turn this into a negative but Haney seems to legitimately want to be great, win or lose.

Prograis will beat the hell out of him

Fair play to Haney if he fights Prograis next though

I don't really like Haney but i'll always respect fighter who takes risks and he is a guy who actually wants to fight the best

Really can't see him taking a fight at 140 that isn't Romero or Ryan next. Those would probably both pay better than a Prograis fight. Tank as a final cash out at 135 or one of the above at 140 most likely next surely?

Guessing that rematch with Loma isn't happening then which will be an asterisk for him too bad but if he legit can't make the weight any more Prograis is a good fight can't hate on that.

If Loma is staying at 1 in the WBC, and Haney takes a fight at 140, they should really try and get Loma-Shakur made for the WBC interim or something and put it on regular ESPN.

Mad respect if he goes right to this fight. He just had a very tough fight with a Hall of Famer and Pro a BAD man!

I like the match-up, but I'd prefer Haney go after Matias. Prograis is definitely battle-tested, but Matias is the one nobody truly wants to face. Matias doesn't cost a lot, and the match-up would be easy to market. Does the IBF allow a champion to relinquish one title in order to get a shot at a higher weight?
