I picked Joe because Joe tried to fight everyone who was out there and it isnt his fault if he exposed and ruined some fighters or if the guys he beat were bigger in Europe than in the U.S. Joe took on Lacy when no one else would have wanted to touch him. What glory was their in beating Reid. Reid is one of the toughest fighters to beat out there. Eubank was only 31 when they fought, hardly over the hill. Yes I know his head wasnt all there, but Joe worked him. Kessler has a chance to do more post Joe than any fighter post mayweather has done. BHop and Jones, yes its Joe's fault for not fighting them sooner, because both have such an impressive resume of taking on British fighters. I love both of their wins over Benn, Eubank, and Collins...Joe has to give them a reason to fight him, unlike Joe who would just take on Jeff Lacy; knowing if he lost he was a fraud, and if he won Lacy was a fraud. He made Hopkins cheat to try to win and he still couldnt win. He destroyed Roy Jones Jr.s legacy and embarrassed him in the ring. What kind of man lets a guy dance in front of them with their hands down taunting him...Calzaghe castrated Jones Jr. that night and I no longer see him as a man. Joe danced and taunted and Jones hid behind his gloves crying tears of blood. I like PBF and think its close and mostly chose Joe because few else would and I think its more even than anything. You can make arguments for each.

Floyd's resume got increasingly worse through the years whereas Joe's got increasingly better. Floyd certainly has more "names" on his, whereas Joe probably has the best name in Hopkins.

In the end he was a hair's breadth away from being a top name. The Ottke robbery kind of took something out of him. Had he been given the win I'm sure the extra boost of confidence would have seen him achieve greater things.
