Floyd winning a poll on this site? amazing.

Yeah, I agree though. Calzaghe's whole resume pretty much is a mystery to me, fought a bunch of nobodies in a place that was highly favored to give him a decision victory, until late where he fought a washed out RJJ and still got knocked down. a close win over Bhop in Joes hometown advantage and the win over Kessler isn't enough to outtrump floyd's work

      130 lbs? corrales?
      What this guy said..

Plus I think having Bhop on your resume is somthin to brag about. I still remember that fight, it was the only time I've seen Hopkins get frustrated. Those flurries completely turned Hopkins out. At one point I saw him trying to flurry back. I still can't believe Hopkins let that **** get to him and take him out of his game.

Calzaghe won 14 by decision, only three were close and the only remotely 'controversial' one (B-Hop) was in the US. And Reid and Eubank were certainly not 'nobodies'. Only Americans would see a shot RJJ as a better win than the rather less shot Eubank.

Well at first it would be easy to shout Mayweather.

However, Calzaghe faced Kessler and Hopkins who I believe are better than any fighter Floyd has faught.

LOL Calzaghe is the one of the most overrated boxer in the history of boxing. He has fought no great fighter. He beat Lacy (an unproven fighter at that time), Kessler (who has done **** in boxing) won a very close decision against Hopkins (past his prime) and RJJ (shot).

Mayweather on the other hand: Hernandez, Corrales, Castillio, Judah, Hatton, De La Hoya...and the list goes on and on. Oh yeah and they were all in their PRIME. Mayweather never fought a fighter that was PASSED his prime. NEVER !! Mayweather is a straight out LEGEND !! Calzaghe is a straight out douchebag !!

                    These guys:

Hernandez, Corrales, Castillio, Judah, Hatton, De La Hoya

Were not better than Kessler and Hopkins.

Yes and this is why I voted Joe.

O and Floyd never put his neck on the line against a game fighter who was a pickem fight by vegas odds (like Kessler). I'd like to see Floyd fight someone of that caliber in his late 30's and win much less in his prime.
