Haney can't crack an egg. Loma was happy to take them and counter with a straight left all night. Yet somehow people give Haney more credit for the body shot than they give Loma for the counter to the face. People see what they want to see I guess.
What the hell fight were you watching? Those body shots were brutal and had Loma gasping for air each shot. His left rib cage was bright red and he was retreating much of the middle rounds because of the body work. Haney stopped throwing the right hook to the body because he was looking to score upstairs and that’s what changed the momentum of the fight.

Loma showed a ton of heart. He was visibly slowed by the body work and not moving that well until he found his second wind late and almost earned a majority draw. If Loma had came out the aggressor in round 12 he probably gets that majority draw.

So where are your score cards if you thought Loma won? What 7 rounds did he win?

ESPN’s live scoring had it 115-113 Haney.

Post your fight card then. What 7 rounds did you give to Loma and why?

NEWARK, New Jersey – Shakur Stevenson was surprised when he stood near Vasiliy Lomachenko last month at Top Rank’s gym in Las Vegas. Stevenson already thought Devin Haney would win their lightweight title bout, but Lomachenko’s small frame further

Show me a scorecard where Lomachenko won 7+ rounds so I can laugh at you. Max Kellerman had it 115-113 for Lomachenko, but his scorecard is disqualified because he had Lomachenko winning the 12th. There's no way Lomachenko won the 12th round which brings me to my last point...

Most people are momentum scorers. They watch the guy who has the momentum and start to give him every round until something devastating happens. Thing is, something devastating doesn't need to happen. All you have to do is out land your opponent. Speaking of which, I'm about done with Andre Ward and Timothy Bradley. Respect to them for what they've done in the spot, but those two are the worst momentum scorers we've ever had calling a fight.
