Respect Haney for giving props to Loma ,but truth is hes very lucky to still have those belts and undisputed status, those who really observed fight rd by rd without any sort of bias, know what really happened in there, haney having huge size advantage ,youth and local support barely 'won' against a smaller, older but still technically sounded and very fast Loma, personally I saw the Ukrainian edging it by 2 rounds but it is what it is.

Not first time it happens in close fights, certainly wont be the last, at least we got to watch a chess match of a fight.

Vasiliy Lomachenko fought well but he just didn't do enough decisively in order to defeat Devin Haney last night. He didn't leave it all in the ring like he should have. He saved a lot of himself in that fight and it ended up costing him the undisputed title. He needed at least a knockdown to have won the fight.

I agree what we witnessed last night was a highly skilled, entertaining and hotly contested bout. However, I can honestly say that Loma had not done enough to have decisively defeat Devin Haney in their undisputed bout last night.

I thought he saved too much of himself in that bout last night. He did not leave everything in the ring. He held back and it ended costing him the fight. Sure, he finished the fight a lot stronger than Haney did and landed the most eye-catching punches.

However, you still have to dominate the champion from rounds 1-12 in order to win the titles and unfortunately; I did not see Loma doing that. Therefore, I felt the judges got it right this time. The right man deserved the victory.

Giving the tenth round to Haney is as ****** as it gets. Really does make me wonder what the point of it all is.

Loma did not leave everything in the ring in that last round so he is part to blame. It's not like he couldn't lift his arms. If he thought he was ahead, that would have been a big mistake. He needed to go out on his shield but he coasted round 12 instead.

Of course you don’t care about all of the favoritism ESPN/Top Rank and other boxing media has shown Loma, now that you’ve been proven wrong about black Americans getting the favoritism. You want to downplay his 3 losses but those fights shouldn’t have been that close to begin with. You’re trying to compare his 3 decision losses out of 20 fights with Floyd’s 2 close decisions out of 50 fights. You gotta get this through your head man, Loma is no comparison to Floyd. Y’all should’ve never ran with this comparison before he had even accomplished much. His best win is who? 40 year old Rigo? GRJ?

Wow your boxing knowledge is very low. So, boxers need experience, they essentially always come from olympic style where they fight short fights with different rules. Adjusting to the pro game takes a long time. Also risking a potential fighter against tough opposition too soon puts them at risk. Nobody wants to face a champion in their second fight, except for maybe Lomachenko. I cannot think of anyone who would have ever wanted since I have been watching this sport. Do you think Floyd was trying to get a title shot in his second fight? No. Bcs he wasn’t ready obviously. Neither was Loma but he wanted to try anyway. So your ”common sense” fails you bcs YDKSAB.

Like I said for how many times? If Loma had been given those close decisions like Americans do with their 3 American judges all the time, we would be talking about Loma as an ATG even tho he would be the same man, only been favoures a lil bit more by 9 people.

Same with Floyd, if he weren’t getting the favouritism from the judges he would still be the same man, with a different record. This is the difference between you and I. You only look at stats and ignore the opposition, skills, decisions and whatnot. You don’t have the IQ to see who is a good fighter and who isn’t. You probably think Deoncé Wilder is a great boxer bcs he was 40-0 lol.

You would think Loma would be a better fighter if he beat 15 hopeless taxi drivers like most fighters. Which just proves your ignorance. Or then you have an agenda and anything going against that narrative you block out by stuffing your ears and closing your eyes yelling your mantras like 17-3! 17-3!

Haney and his team got the gift and will run to 140. I’d like to see Loma put this right with a rematch, but I can guarantee you that Team Haney doesn’t want the smoke. They know who won.

That’s why today’s fighters will have a hard time being truly great. Because of the promoter matchmaking they can get to 30 fights and even be unified champions yet STILL be needing to gain experience.
