Haney actually figured out loma in the last round and loma wasn't as successful as the earlier 2 rounds. Loma tried to cut angles and haney neutered him. If they ever rematch, haney is going to win by a wider margin or even stop loma now that haney has dealt with loma.

You know Loma lost and didn't do enough to win that fight. Sure, he looked good fighting in spurts. However, in order to take the titles away from the champion; You have to fight for all 12 rounds and win the fight both definitively and decisively.
Loma didn't do any of that. He attempted to conserve energy for the later rounds. Moreover, you have to leave it all in the ring too and leave nothing behind. However and unfortunately, Loma failed to do that also.
He boasted that he held back in the twelfth round because he thought he had won the fight by winning rounds 10 and 11. He held back a lot in that fight against Haney in the early rounds and especially in the 12th round.
Which ultimately ended up costing him the fight.
