Oh Oh! The built in excuses continues to mount. Now when Loma loses on Saturday, he is going to blame it on the size advantage discrepancy.

He never once compared himself to Rigondeaux when he was dominating and defeating all the rest of the Lightweight fighters in the division. So why make comparisons now?

What has changed since he is challenging Devin Haney? I will tell you what has changed. Loma knows he about to get his ass whupped. It's just like I said; The man is lacking in confidence. Chances are at some point; He will mentally break and check out of the fight.

In other words, he would just simply refuse to take enough risks in order to win the fight like he did against Teofimo Lopez.

You are right. He already sounds like a defeated fighter with that Rigondeaux comment.

I don't see Loma winning this but if he does, some of the folks in this thread are going to need to double up on their Xanax.

I don't think he is admitting that he is not a master boxer no, not at all. He is being a realist in bringing out that Haney not only has the physical advantages, but also is very high skilled. The reality is that Haney could win.

The answer to your question is yes. He already has a defeatist attitude.

I think what should have been said is Lomachenko is not Russian.

Bad analogy. Loma is not moving up two weight classes. He's the former Undisputed Lightweight Champion!
This. It's not comparable at all.

Boxing has weight divisions. Not reach and height divisions. So no.
