Shane and Floyd is gonna get it on.......trust me!!!

Its not that easy or simple anymore, Its all about money and what all the people that put that money into an event could get back. If Mayweather has fought Mosley on his comeback would Mosley have accept JMM' money/pay?? No he would have demand more and where do you suppose HBO or GBP get the money from??

We has fans are now more knowledgeable than before because the world of boxing now also include economics which we never thought of before, Yes we all want to see the best fighting the best but are you ready to pay 100 dollars to see a Mayweather/Mosley fight??

Wow back on the subject i think Mayweather would probably wait for more options before he decides who he fights and like people know already money talks, If the Mosley fight pays more than a fight with Pac or cotto am sure Mayweather,HBO and GBP would go for that fight but it doesnt look like a Mosley fight pays enough for all the parties involve to make the fight.

Which is a bit crazy when you think about it because both parties would make plenty of cake. When you stand to make millions upon millions its insane that the best fights still can't or won't be made. This doesn't just go for Floyd, but any fighter who's greed deprives the fans of what they want. Jmo.

Because both fighter would demand more money to fight each other, Mayweather would want $20 million plus, While Mosley would want $8 million plus, And HBO would want to charge the normal 45 or 50 dollars that they charge you guys which wouldnt add up in the end for them.

If Mayweather fight JMM he can make his 15 or 20 million while JMM makes 3m for example...Unless the fans are ready to pay double the money they would normally pay for a PPV event then this fight would take time to happen not while people like Pac or cotto can be an option in 2 months or so..

I agree with you all the way, but this is what is wrong with boxing. When pampered stars dictate who and how much they will fight for instead of giving the fans what THEY want, even though they would make millions anyway.....thats messed up. Its a business, yes. But how long can business thrive when the best aren't fighting the best? Im not disagreeing with you, I just don't like it.

Now that the tables have turned, do you expect anything less then a prideful champion like Mayweather to show Mosley the same disregard he was given by him earlier in his career?

What type of message would that send to the kids in urban communities who Floyd frequently sacrifices his time to talk to? That disrespect and cowardice should be rewarded? Give me a break.

Between him dodging opponents then chasing them when it benefits him to claiming he's a "role model" when steroid accusations have been following him for most of his career, i think it's fair to say that Shane Mosley is one of the biggest hypocrites to ever lace on a pair of gloves. He gives the "Sugar" moniker a bad name.

Mosley did not duck Mayweather earlier in his career you moron! if you knew anything about Boxing you would know that Mosley was never a LW, he fought above LW as an amateur, Mosley used say himself i spend all that time trying to get down to 135 and then i only spend a couple of hours there, he left the LW division because none of the Champions there wanted a piece of him (Stevie Johnston etc)

Mosley's thinking was, if they wont fight me now i may aswell move up rather than kill myself making the LW limit and then have them take a fight because im struggling at the weight, that is why he left LW, they did not want to fight him, plus he was struggling at the weight so he moved.

You guys clowns are already making excuses because you know Floyd doesn't want none of shane.

The fact is right now Mosley is the #1 welterweight in the world and Floyd hasn't fought a real welterweight in years.

Mayweather vs Mosley would be a great fight regardless of the outcome. The only people who don't want to see Mayweather vs Mosley are people that are sitting on Floyd's balls, they would rather see mayweather keep cherry picking than him taking a chance of losing his 0 by fighting someone who could actually beat him.

How dare you bitches call yourselves boxing fans.

Well this is why sport like UFC can spring up within a shorter time and make a big impact on sport fans, In UFC they dont get pampered or paid like they do in boxing, But HBO for example would be looking to make the biggest money from anyone of their biggest stars.

I think the Hype for the Mayweather/Mosley can make the fight big but both fighters would still have to lower their respective demands when it comes to the money available for the fight.

Its easy for some people to say Mosley is the number 1 fighter at WW so the fight should happen but if the money isnt right for Mosley he wouldnt take the fight, In the end its all about money with all the parties involve.
