You guys are never satisfied on here... First you're crying for Floyd to fight Pacquiao and now since Floyd is holding out so he can fight Pacquiao you guys are all pissed saying he's ducking Shane... There's a reason why Shane hasnt signed on to fight Berto or Clottey, it's cause he doesnt care about titles he just wants the big money fight and him loosing to one of those two ends his chances at getting that... If Shane fights and beats Berto i'm sure Floyd will fight him late 2010

Chalk up another loss for the geek with the childrens cartoon in his Avatar.
I dont know man I agree on some points

To say Mayweather had no money or ran out of money is more of speculation than anything since there are countless stories of other people in the spotlight owing taxes yet I don't think those people were called broke. If I had to guess, he probably didn't have enough liquid assets to cover his debt to the IRS.

However, as for the car, unless he had no utter use for it I don't see why he reneged on his loan nor why he wouldn't have paid for it in cash. I also heard pretty strong stories about Haymon fronting him money to keep him away from DKP. That deal was quite real but DKP didn't have enough up front cash to make it happen.

in the end I care less about Mayweather's financial holdings I enjoy watching him fight and have for quite some time. As long as that doesn't drop off or get affected I am fine with however he spends his hard earned money

Floyd fans will do anything to keep the dirt off of him. Let me ask you guys this. How do you know Mayweather was even serious about challenging Mosley? You've got to remember he did the same thing with Winky Wright and then bitched out. In the situation we find ourselves in today, Mosley punked Floyd to his pathetic face, and I guess you don't want Mayweather to take the time to wipe the spit off of it. When did Floyd ever challenge Mosley to his face? That's what I thought.

            Question:

What if Floyd Mayweather, Jr. sat on a belt for a year without defending it once?

All I can say is - if Jones and Hopkins can make it happen after all the bickering they've had, then there's no reason as to why Mosley and Mayweather can't come to an agreement. 60-40 for the latter, perhaps?

Why would - OR SHOULD - Floyd ever give Mosley 40 percent?

How about 80 for the PPV and P4P king and 20 for Mosley. That sounds more realistic given Mosley's shady dealings with him in the past and the fact that he can't sell out an elementary school gym without a big name attached to him.

He'd still make more off that 20% then he would from virtually any other fight considering Floyd is hands down the biggest cash cow in boxing right now.
