Mayweather owes Mosley nothing. But I would like him to fight Mosley after he fights the winner of the Cott/Pac fight.

SekondzOut is right, fans who philosophize with fighters points of views of why they are straight up refusing to fight someone is why they can get away with it.

I dont see how anyone can justify cherry picking fights with, "he ducked him before" or "hes not a draw". Myaweather reached a financial status most people never will, and he still refuses to fight for anything bellow 10 mil?? and hes a boxer??

Now that the tables have turned, do you expect anything less then a prideful champion like Mayweather to show Mosley the same disregard he was given by him earlier in his career?

What type of message would that send to the kids in urban communities who Floyd frequently sacrifices his time to talk to? That disrespect and cowardice should be rewarded? Give me a break.

Between him dodging opponents then chasing them when it benefits him to claiming he's a "role model" when steroid accusations have been following him for most of his career, i think it's fair to say that Shane Mosley is one of the biggest hypocrites to ever lace on a pair of gloves. He gives the "Sugar" moniker a bad name.
LOL man ya'll sound like you're promoting Floyd yourselves and are looking for every reason for Floyd NOT to fight Shane.

Why do ya'll front as if this fight won't happen? Between Shane, Pac, and Cotto...Shane is the easiest fight to make, and you're gonna tell me it wont be a big money fight after they pulled 1 Mill from fighting Marquez???

LOL even Floyd got you fooled man. Shane is on their target, trust me.

exactly my point, he paid it with his comeback fight. you just made yourself look like an idiot, cong****

oh and yeah, having a BOXING cartoon on my avatar "may" be geeky, but what about having a shirtless man showing muscles? get out of here faggot

what does his thread title have to do with boxing then? he called mosley a desperate hypocrite, and i pointed out that floyd's a desperate hypocrite too

Mayweather was chasing a fight with Mosley when he was younger? Lemme guess, you began watching boxing around 2005.

Was discussions of a bout taking place? Sure, hardcore fans and scribes clamored for it. Was Mayweather chasing a fight with him? Uhh no. I'd say he was chasing Hamed before I'd say he was chasing Mosley.

the regurgitation of the same points of view (Floyd chasing Mosley) get so redundant that it becomes fact for some.

It's amazing. I've been ignoring it but I'm really surprised how many people on here express this sentiment. Like...weren't you watching boxing back then? How come I don't recall this "Floyd chasing Mosley" business. Revisionist history at its finest.
