Man this is beyond ******ed. How in the fück can anyone prove or disprove something that happened 50 years ago with no witnesses? How are these women expecting any positive outcome from this? Are they trying to pile on to blackmail him into a settlement?

I'm guessing George is like anyone else in the industry that's been "Metoo'd"- he said 'no' when no wasn't an option and pissed off the wrong,powerful people In the process.

A tough one with a lot of time that has passed. It is telling when an entertainer, athlete, etc has "settled" allegations before. One could even tacitly assume if they were innocent they would not be so ready to settle.

On the other hand, there is a whole cottage industry of setting up famous individuals with these type allegations.

I believe we have to look at each case with no bias in either direction. What you find are people who seem to believe that: either, all men accused of such acts are innocent and women are evil, or that all women who make such accusations are doing so truthfully, with no exxageration, etc.

Settling out of court is not an admission of guilt.

By that logic, then settling out of court would be an admission of gold digging by the alleged victim no?

Also, why press civil charges instead of criminal charges? Doesn't that say you are more interested in money than justice? In that case, why should we even believe you were ****d?

Finally, an example. CR7 settled out of court for similar charges in 2008, but he didn't want to.

However, Real Madrid had just signed him and given that Ronaldo was the best player in the world at the time and the most expensive signing ever, Real Madrid understandable didn't want all the bad press of a **** case as they would lose money on their investment, so they ordered him to settle out of court.

A decade later, after Ronaldo left Madrid and joined Juventus, same b*tch resurfaces and presses civil law suit on Ronaldo for the alleged **** of 10 years ago, one that she already settled out of court by the way.

She claims it's for her daughter and that she feels she failed all women and her daughter by settling ten years ago, and that she wants to set a good example for her daughter.

What bs is this though? Why she tryna get paid if its to set a good example? Why a civil suit instead of criminal charge?

I'm not debating whether he actually did it or not. It was 4 decades ago- who the f--k really knows?

I'm talking about how often these instances all unfold the same: A high profile male celebrity has a current or past incident (guilty or innocent) and then droves of "anonymous" women come out of nowhere saying "ME TOO".

If people can't see the play here then I don't know what else to say.

We live in a society that panders to females so much that a woman can make up a story where she's a "victim" a few decades ago (with zero proof whatsoever) and some people will arbitrarily believe it.

And they'll not only believe it, but they'll try to "shame" anyone who dares to question the validity of stories made at a coincidentally advantageous time.

Funny why poor people aren't accused after 50 years, only rich men. It must be frustrating that someone can make a **** claim and bring 1-2 "friends" who would "testify" of what happened 50 years ago. Yet, no concrete evidence can be found so it is basically down to words only.

Athletes and actors aren't exactly the most intelligent people and are susceptible to seduction. The definition of **** and sexual assault now favors women such that it is almost impossible to know when someone is a real victim, an engineered victim, or a false victim.
