Yes. The right kidney lies right under the liver, and can get bruised from the same body shot, resulting in blood in the urine. Regardless, I would love to watch any of the haters take a body shot from Garcia and then tell him that he quit. A little perspective goes a long ways. Real easy to talk about pain and going out on your shield from your couch.

Fair enough, and time will tell if Ryan Garcia creates a legacy that overshadows that particular low point.

Ask Mark Magsayo about how many brutal body shots he took against Julio Ceja only to come back and know Ceja out cold. That's heart. Shane Mosley took a brutal shot to the body that bent him over against Vernan Forrest and he kept on going. Garcia is a front runner and has no dog in him. Maidana took a body shot from Khan and was rolling around on the floor. He came back and handed Khan a severe ass whoopin! That's balls!

So they paralyze you for 9 and a half seconds but then all of a sudden you can get up after 10?????

Oh yea, Floyd is a power puncher like Tank LOL

This is proven to be true.
              However
He got up at the 10 count.
Most fighter who are incapacitated are usually down longer and in obvious pain.

Not saying Ryan threw the fight or quit.

Ryan might have quit knowing that he could only stand up at the moment but he couldn't move nearly well enough to fight back when Gervonta got all over him to knock him out. And it seems like he tried to stand up during the referee count and found out that the pain was too much for standing up right then. Quitting that way is different from quitting just thinking "Let's just stop this fight right now".

The fact that he was able to stand and walk does not mean he was able to get down and slug it out with Davis.

It's not black and white when you take a shot to the liver...

He should've stood up earlier around count 8 or stay down to around 12 to 14 second then get up. He clearly stood up at 10 just in time to quit

why did he spring up like a jack in the box after it was waved off? he quit, its that simple... im not saying hes a coward as he didnt have to take the fight in the first place but its clear as day he quit, it would have damaged his 'brand' too much if he got KTFO and that was looking like the only outcome... it is very very very rare an elite fighter gets stopped by a body shot out of nowhere
