A weight clause with 10/12 hours left of rehydration is not the elephant in the room people try to make out, the IBF implemented it as a safety rule, if it was medically proven to dehydrate a fighter prior to fighting they could be sued to the high heavens..
The key is the 10/12 hours left that allows a guy to rehydrate to whatever he wants, seeing as it is half the time frame at 10lbs, that's means there is potential for 20lbs rehydration over double the time, so whats the issue?
