If Pacquiao beats Cotto, is it a bigger accomplishment then anything Floyd has done?

This is called good match making for some people to me its ducking the real athletic fighters whom can match you in speed and or in your weight class. Weight class being Bradley, Holt, Torress, Campbell, Peterson and even a Corley.
I almost feel sorry for how ignorant you are. I need to call the hospital you were released from and tell them the job is not done yet...you're still ****in insane!!

I'd say Pac beating Haton in 2 and DLH in 8 is better than anything PBF has done already. But beating Cotto would also be better than anything PBF has done.

which fight will be remembered more?..... a WIN over cotto or a Win over Barrera in manny's career? which one is bigger.

the victory who put him on the map..and spotlight

        or..

the victory that consagrates him self as the best fighter of the decade maybe more>>??

I dont know man... but a victory over cotto is Bigger. Not because of cotto just because all that is involve with that win...manny becoming the first fighter winning 7th div.. etc etc... that victory will proclaim manny pacquiao as one of the best fighter ever!!!!

this doesnt have to do anything with cotto.

or barrera being better than cotto which is an oppinion NOT A FACT.

a win over cotto, its bigger than a win over barrera.

It is also my opinion, as of now, the barrera win is his greatest accomplishment. It was his introduction to superstar status. But I agree with your assessment that a Cotto win would catapult him to legendary status regarding division titles, p4p supremacy. But I always believe that if pac lost to barrera that night, he will not have reached the status he is today. No way will we even be talking about a pac-cotto fight.

I do not know how will Cotto's career pan out in the future. If Cotto will be an ATG in the future, then I would change my opinion. As of now, barrera's resume is greater than Cotto.

there are only 2 reasons to speculate why a win over cotto would be bigger

              1. pac is coming UP to fight cotto
              2. was barrera in his prime when he fought pacquiao (barrera was 28 at at the time correct?) or despite being 28, did barrera have too many hard fights by this point in his career? this is up to you to decide.

my take: i dont know if barrera was at his peak with pacquiao or not but he wasnt washed up yet and even if the same barrera that beat hamed showed up - i feel the result would have been similar.

barrera was #3 p4p at the time correct?

keep in mind if cotto did not get plastered by marg he may have reached the same p4p rank as barrera, that statement is ultimately regardless though because one thing remains evident

p4p who is better, prime cotto(up to this point obviously) or prime barrera?
i like cotto, but he has yet to pass barrera up.

ill never forget barrera making naz look like an idiot. wasnt the most exciting fight of barrera's career - but what an important victory it was! sadly barrera would go on to make a fool of himself and make most of us less fans of him. he should not have fought past 2nd pacquiao fight, probably shouldnt have even fought that one.

no because the fight is at a catchweight !!
now if you want to include catchweight fights...

than floyd s win over jmm would be better than pac win over cotto

if pac retires without fighting a African American fighter than shame on pac it is no excuses now.

                  lol

Pac beat Hatton at 140, and 140 is the weight class hatton looked best at with his dominate win over Paulie.

Given the signifigant jump in weight over Pac's career I'd say yes without a ****ing doubt. He is better than Floyd's ever fought, and Pac is fighting beyond his natural weight.
