If Pacquiao beats Cotto, is it a bigger accomplishment then anything Floyd has done?

    I would say yes.

I mean if cotto fought floyd i would consider him the toughest fight he has to date.

How about beating undefeated 43-0 champ - Ricky Hatton - by KO? Note both fighters were coming in from knockout victories and Floyd had everyone and their mothers against him, as usual...
if floyd fought perfectly that night he wouldnt have lost any rounds to De la hoya and owuldve KO'd him. Oscar was clear past his prime, and had a fat body with skinny arms. He didnt look like he had a chance against floyd but still managed a SD.

Ricky Hatton never fought at welterweight before Floyd. it was a good win, but undefeated or not, Manny KOd Hatton in 2

        Oscar was a great win.
But he was past it,(I dont believe Cotto is) and had been for a while. And had already lost several times and been KO'd.

He had Hatton come up to WW. Great performance by Floyd, but it doesnt compare to Pac going up and beating Cotto. IF he can.

2009 Cotto won't be all that on Pacquiao's resume.

Pacquiao's resume is stacked with great wins already.

Morales 2x, Barrera 2x, Marquez>The Cotto from now.

2008 pre-Margarito Cotto, would have been a great win on anyone's resume.

If Pacman gets through Cotto, I'd be mighty damn impressed. It would cement him as a true WW threat...bring on Floyd.

                barrera was the lineal champion.

barrera was #3 in the world p4p at the time.

                pacquiao was a huge underdog.

pacquiao was fighting his first fight at 126.

pacquiao was fighting in front of a hostile mexican/mexican-american crowd in texas.

                that's why , animalistic.

not everything is against cotto. you guys need to smarten up and realize that.
                sure BOBBY LEE

Come on mellow....we all know the Barrera win by Pac is his greatest accomplishment. Cotto isn't as great as Barrera yet.
