How about beating the lineal champion at 154, making his debut at the weight, having gloves, ring size and contract weight all chosen from him, in Oscar De La Hoya? Floyd fought perfectly that night. Make no mistakes the Oscar who showed up that night had nothing to do with the Oscar Pacquiao beat.
How about beating undefeated 43-0 champ - Ricky Hatton - by KO? Note both fighters were coming in from knockout victories and Floyd had everyone and their mothers against him, as usual...
if floyd fought perfectly that night he wouldnt have lost any rounds to De la hoya and owuldve KO'd him. Oscar was clear past his prime, and had a fat body with skinny arms. He didnt look like he had a chance against floyd but still managed a SD.
Ricky Hatton never fought at welterweight before Floyd. it was a good win, but undefeated or not, Manny KOd Hatton in 2

Oscar was a great win.
But he was past it,(I dont believe Cotto is) and had been for a while. And had already lost several times and been KO'd.
He had Hatton come up to WW. Great performance by Floyd, but it doesnt compare to Pac going up and beating Cotto. IF he can.
