If Pacquiao beats Cotto, is it a bigger accomplishment then anything Floyd has done?

I think he was watching the same one as me. You know, the one where Floyd lost to Oscar.

Well, just my opinion swizz, but I am sure I saw fear in there. A fear of getting hit that I havent noticed before, and its noticeable because Cotto is a pretty brave guy. We will see, maybe I am wrong, maybe not.

yes, Cotto is a very dangerous opponent. If Manny pulls it off it would be a great accomplishment for anyone.

Now go and watch the fights pre Margarito and tell ,me if you see him do that. You would have to watch a lot of rounds, believe me.
The thing is, you can't compare pre-Margarito fights with different opponents to his fight with Clottey. He very well might have been affected by the loss, but again, I think his performance in the Clottey fight had more to do with Clottey than anything else.

He was just a tough opponent, and not many people look good fighting him.

floyd's best win is beating corrales and i think corrales slightly edges out cotto. though i guess you have to take into account this is at welterweight for a featherweight.
How about beating the lineal champion at 154, making his debut at the weight, having gloves, ring size and contract weight all chosen from him, in Oscar De La Hoya? Floyd fought perfectly that night. Make no mistakes the Oscar who showed up that night had nothing to do with the Oscar Pacquiao beat.
How about beating undefeated 43-0 champ - Ricky Hatton - by KO? Note both fighters were coming off knockout victories and Floyd had everyone and their mothers against him, as usual...

This is a tough question. It all depends on what you think about Mayweather's best accomplishment.

Is beating prime undefeated Corrales that you were underdog against better than slightly damaged Cotto that you are favored to win against?

If you want you can edit your thread and add this question in it. I give you my permission.
