If loma can keep the fight in his range which is close and mid, and spend as least time at Haneys long range he definitely can win the fight, he is faster on his feet and needs to use that, Haney has size and youth and is very slick but Loma causes him big problems if Loma wins the range.

Despite his reputation, Haney isn't really slick at all. Pretty easy to hit cleanly once you get past the jab. Very little head movement, static guard.

because loma finally got his wind and started reading teo better.

teo stopped throwing because loma started landing, teo came on too strong in the beginning to control the fight and lost some steam which loma capitalized on.

had that been a 15 round fight,

        loma would have won.

Distance & time. These are the two elements of the boxing fight, that Lomachenko or any Haney opponent needs to subtract vs Haney.

Inside game, and closing speed 'These are the two attributes, that Lomachenko has which can achieve this tactical aim.

Stylistically, Lomachenko will know precisely what kind of fight he needs to fight 'The difficult part will be applying these tactics on fight night'.

In order for Lomachenko to make his best attributes show vs Haney 'His speed will have to ether be equal or greater than Haney's'.

Haney has not really shown much ability to fight on the inside, so that's the environment Lomachenko has to create.

Note: This fight is a similar tactical fight, to Ricky Hatton vs Floyd Mayweather Junior. Hatton had to take away Mayweather's distance and time, which he successfully did for most of the fight 'But what Hatton then realized ? Was that Mayweather Junior had a serious and capable inside game'.

So overall, I do give Lomachenko a serious chance. But right now it is difficult to judge how each fighters speed of movement, and hand speed will compare.

Lomachenko has world level endurance so, that is not a issue etc.

          wish loma had more pop.

          its his one weakness.

loma does deal well with fighters who use excessive clinching.

Got his wind? he didn't use any wind the first 5 rounds lol. He started late against Ortiz as well. If he takes 5 rounds to start getting to Haney, he's going to lose a pretty clear cut decision because I doubt he's going to sweep the whole 2nd half of the fight.

Yep, he definitely needs to reconsider his tactics for this fight. I was literally screaming at my TV for the first 6 rounds when he fought Teo. You can't bet everything on the 2nd half of the fight

Slick for a straight up-and-down guy lol, my slick rating would go, Garcia Haney then Shakur the slickest, I get what you're saying though fair point.

Watching Ortiz Loma now... up to round 8 and Ortiz has won 6 rounds on my card.

Loma may be landing more clean shots but he's being outhustled here, it doesn't look good even if most of the punches are barely missing or hitting gloves. Especially when Lomas punches aren't thudding like Nelos for example.
