I feel sorry for all of his fans who actually believed in him.

Lol Tank dropped him with a half-hearted liver shot whereas the one Ryan stopped Campbell with was flush. Also, Ryan wasn't THAT badly hurt (hence the 5 sec delayed reaction) and could've got up. However, he realised that Tank would've jumped on him and knocked him unconscious so took the easy way out just like Khan did against Bud. Anybody who thinks otherwise is a gullible fool.

The bottom line is he is a social media creation that when it comes down to it does not have the metal to withstand and fight through fire.....these are paid professional and it’s there dutie to be the best that they can be in there and if a fighter lacks that trait he should get the **** out of that sport
          mettle.

We can debate the physiology of this body shot all day, but it's perhaps more important to access the psychology of Garcia during the post-bout interview:

"Did you think you could continue?"

          "Yeeeeeeeahhhhhhhh... but...."

"What was going on internally, were you having trouble breathing?"

"I'm not gonna say nuthin', but yeah, yeah, I couldn't breathe."

Analyse the candescence of his voice, everything. I'd never personally get in a boxing ring, and I don't particularly knock the kid for it - he's still a dish in my eyes - but the tone, phrasing, pausing... it suggests a kid who quit.

Although I do think Khan looked for a way out against Crawford, I don't like using his name as a yardstick of quitting, because he's shown on multiple other occasions that he's not (usually) a quitter.

Completely agree man. Yes he was hurt but he still chose to stay down.

Really makes me respect Maidana even more. Khan really hurt him bad with that body shot and his body was saying that's it, but he willed his mind into believing he was ok.

                    Ryan's not about that life.

He had some success with it the last couple rounds when he did finally throw it but he just wasn't good enough obvioulsy
Frank Martin showcased how it's done against Rivera. It CAN be done. If you have a good trainer. Joe Goosen doesn't fit that, because he hasn't fixed ANY of Ryan's flaws that were always there.
