Garcia look scared during the ring walk. When tank dropped him in round 2 he looked ready to cry.

The kid has the mental toughness of Lawrence Philips. What a complete hype job and joke. Another Mexican fighter says No MAS

He didn't want to quit of course, but he had no choice and couldn't continue. I bet he would've wanted too if he could, but his body gave up and shut down on him.

So if he didn't quit then what do you call it then? First, he attempted to get up but didn't. However, once the referee reached the count of ten he got up and walked back to his corner without favoring the side of the body where the punch landed.

I am not saying that it wasn't a hard punch or he wasn't in pain. I just feel that if he really wanted to win the fight badly enough; Then he would have persevered and continued.

It's ok for a fighter to lose to the better opponent but it is never cool for a fighter to lose to fear like Ryan Garcia did. He quit because he was frustrated, felt Tank's power and didn't want to get hurt. He could have gotten up if he wanted to.

Does Gatti stay down from that body shot?

                    Does Castillo?

                    Does Corrales?

Garcia didn’t want to go out on his shield last night. That’s fine but let’s call it for it what it was.
You hit the hammer right on the nail. He could have gotten up if he really wanted to win badly enough! You are right. He just mentally checked out.
