It was like he realised if I get back up I’m getting KTFO and thought nah I’d rather get counted out.
That's what I thought, I think he figured his attempts at being more aggressive and committing more was getting him countered and was only a matter of time before he got KO'd so decided to stay down.

He couldn't get the jab going and was unable to use his physical advantages, I was quite surprised that he ran out of ideas so quickly.

        Exactly.

I don't know if Garcia quit or not, but sure as hell he had a trademark pre-Tyson Michael Spinks "I'm-gonna-die-tonight" look during the introductions.

Back to the shrink now for overrated Ryan.

Completely agree. Tank used his aggression against him.

Garcia looked like someone who wasn't prepared for the task at hand. He clearly didn't have the experience/ring IQ. He didn't learn from Teo/Kambosos that you cannot bombard your opponent so early because that's when disaster can happen. I assume he wanted to finish the fight quickly due to potentially feeling weight-drained, but it still wasn't a good idea to blitz a counter-puncher like Davis. Davis knew that all he had to do was frustrate Garcia enough to give up his reach and over-commit, basically like he did vs. Romero.

F yes he quit! How else can one describe it when a man takes a full ten count why he is still alert and conscious but then subsequently walks back to his corner as if nothing had happened?

It wasn't like he was stretched out on the canvas or something. He could have fought on if he wanted to. He didn't because he is a coward who was afraid of getting hurt. The man is an absolute fraud and sham.
