Joshua could easily lose to any decent HW right now, that's why Hearn is trying to put him in with the safest opponent or a big cash out fight against Fury/Wilder. Zhang is too dangerous of an opponent for Joshua to jeopardize the big money Fury/Wilder fights. I think Zhang also signed a 3 fight deal with Queensbury to get the Joyce fight, so Hearn is probably a bit bitter since he left matchroom lol

Not sure that AJ handles that left coming straight up the middle. I'd be hesitant about putting AJ in with a heavy handed fighter until he regains some confidence (if he regains some confidence).

Zhang has his flaws and there are fighters who I think beat him but it's all about matchups. Not sure AJ right now matches up well with him.

All the fans want to see is Joshua in there with these guys that Hearn keeps telling everyone he beats ...but say this and all of a sudden you're a 'hater' .I'd love to see Joshua fight and beat these guys , I'm just not sure he can....as a avid fan of the sport I don't see a problem with this view.

I agree with two things Eddie said in that interview. Firstly, there are 4 elite fighters in AJ, Fury, Usyk, and Wilder, and then there are the rest. Secondly, Zhang is nowhere near an elite fighter and struggles against many of the second-tier fighters. Joyce was just there to be hit at will and not many others offer such easy targets.

I reckon if Joyce takes the AJ-Ruiz 2 approach, he could win the rematch.

What does Zhang need to do to get respect. He's won 26 out of 27 fights, he's a Olympic silver medalist, he's beat a bronze and silver medallist in his last 2 fights!. Every time Zhang beats someone, they then become bums? Flip and joyce are bums now? So when Zhang beats wilder, fury, theyre bums all of a sudden?
Zhang is elite, don't need to explain it and be apologetic about saying it. But it might be only for next couple of years.
