what like AJ pinged Franklin everywhere? Zhang's southpaw right hook straight left combo would be smashing into "Big Femi's" nut all night long To say Zhang is not elite is wrong, he clearly fights with intelligence. At the end of the day Usyk, white, Povetkin, Ruiz and Klitschko have all either wobbled or dropped AJ. To think a big attacking (realistically unbeaten) southpaw with power couldn't KO a gun shy AJ is laughable.

Yep. +1 for you sir. Zhang is a legit top 5 heavyweight, which means he could beat the duckers in Fury and the gun shy Joshua. Or the less than skilled Joyce.

What does Zhang need to do to get respect. He's won 26 out of 27 fights, he's a Olympic silver medalist, he's beat a bronze and silver medallist in his last 2 fights!. Every time Zhang beats someone, they then become bums? Flip and joyce are bums now? So when Zhang beats wilder, fury, theyre bums all of a sudden?
Zhang is elite, don't need to explain it and be apologetic about saying it. But it might be only for next couple of years.

Zhang DID NOT beat Hrgovic. He lost the decision three judges cards and had a gift knockdown which could have been scored a 10-9 round because outside of the pull down / hook combo, he didn't win round one. Check the punch stats!

However Zhang is top 5 now.


And Hrgovic had and off night due to the death of his father. He and was under focused and the ring apron was wet. In truth both fighters proved a lot vs each other. If they re-match I expect Hrgovic to knock him out.

They picked Franklin because HE was supposed to be an opponent with no power that made AJ look good, and AJ looked terrified. So where do you go from there? Half expecting Eddie to call me up with an offer

Zhang beat flip, unless flip got reasonable explanation of his odd behaviour. His face had a sickened "no mas" look on it when walking away? Zhang won round 1, flip only landed a handful o r so body punches in a round he was knocked down, if you are even trying to argue that then we aren't going to get anywhere.
but flip is one of the best in the world off that loss to zhang also. Flip looked good in losing.
Id say flip is top 8 in the world

Joey juggernaut Joyce is the kind of fighter that will make a decent southpaw fighter look like Pernell Whitaker......as for fury he has not fulfilled his duties as a champion and he is just stringing people along without making the big fights people have a right to see and if he is not prepared to put his his reputation on the line he should step aside and let other fighters do it instead

Heavyweight boxing is once again slowing dying due to the fact that a self proclaimed great champion is making demands that he knows will never be accepted and robs us of a real unification and instead ops for Derek chisora......it’s not right
As for zhang he is a good southpaw who will be a dangerous fight for any ranked heavyweight due to his style , size and power

It returned him to the top 12. Fury picked up the title from a long-term champion who was showing no slippage prior, and had 3 wars with the 2nd best heavyweight of the past 8 years era, and handled with ease a top 6 contender in Whyte, who many thought would beat Fury. When Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, Rid**** Bowe, Lennox Lewis and Wladimir Klitschko extended themselves that much, they got beaten. So too did Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder.

So who is this guy that Fury is not "Not fulfilling his duties" against, exactly???

I agree with some of this, particularly the very high bar set by guys like Lennox. The parts about me personally? My wife agrees with alot of that.
