Dana White FORCES the best to fight the best every single week while in boxing it takes YEARS for the best to fight. No wonder people see boxing as a dying sport.

The ''best'' MMA/UFC guy is a glorified barroom brawler.
No one cares about the ''best'' MMA ''fighter''

Volkanowski and Jon Jones are far more skilled and better fighters than any boxer though....

              Better kickers, no doubt.
Take away the kicking and there's no sport.
              Bareknuckles 2.0 at best.

Even still, why do a few MMA fan like to make boxing is dead/inferior threads
Seems like a desperate move to me.

Uhhh...the wrestling/BJJ? thats the most complex aspect of the whole game by a lot.

No idea. They have their own qualities. I think MMA does a lot of things better but theres always gonna be a certain appeal to the purity and feel of a good boxing match, it will never "die".

It's pure opportunistic rolling around on the floor AFTER a so called ''artist'' is caught with a sloppy tap to the chin or a kick.
MMA/UFC is so popular in the way professional wrestling is

Those who don't like a sport should not waste time on that message board.
Unless their sport has nothing to chat about.

The ground game is more technically complex than the entirety of boxings skillset. To call it "rolling around on the floor" is ridiculous.

The ground and pound game can't happen unless a jawless kicker gets chinned.
A bunch on nonsense before a lucky tap lands, then the rolling around commences.
A bunch of opportunistic ''punches'' are landed until ref dives in to save the fallen great.
