Why do people keep bringing up David Morrell? He's 8-0...

Eye test. It is a little premature but when he's been holding that Regular title for quite a few fights now people will start linking him to the big names in the division. Him against Benavidez would be superb. Not quite sure what they achieve putting him in with Agbeko except getting his name out there with a KO. Uzcategui would've been better and if he KO'd him he'd have done something Plant didn't.

I've pointed that out in the past. In addition The Monster failed a drug test and missed weight, losing his title on the scale. That version wasn't necessarily someone you would want to depend on to be your opponent for a major ppv event. Hopefully he has put all that behind him.

As for Morrell, I think he's gonna follow the Bena and Plant blueprint until he gets a big fight and it won't happen this year.
The biggest mystery to me is Andrade. I wonder what he signed up for.

Morell jr is the real monster, tell me with only 8 fights who has fought three undefeated fighters, with a combined record of 136W18L, get this, after his first fight, the other 7 has been ko only three times all together. He's ready now and wants to do it. He's the most dangerous 168 pounder in the world. Again mention one SMW that has done that, present or past._Rexy_ likes this.
