Whyte is only dangerous if Joshua has completely forgotten how to throw an uppercut:

AJ vs Bakole or Yoka would be decent. Yoka is in a similar boat to AJ in terms of not being mentally confident in fights but does have physical attributes and the amateur pedigree to potentially give AJ problems. Bakole would present AJ with a stern test and is definitely of a higher calibre than Franklin having already won regional titles - his only loss was sustained because of an injured shoulder.

No, you need for AJ to get a heart and brain transplant. This dude needs a psychologist not another fight! Hearn is just a AJ cheerleader who looks to fill his pockets with money and cash out. Imagine AJ fighting any top heavyweight? He has no chance to beat Wilder, Fury, Jared Anderson, or Joe Joyce. All of these fighters would smoke him!

The Hearn/DAZN/AJ experiment is a imploding mm!! Canelo is next as he would have a hard time beating Bivol 2, and Benevidez. That’s why Hearn signed Berlanga so he can feed him to Canelo knowing Berlanga sucks. But a Mexican bs Puerto Rican will sell IF IF IF Berlanga shows up, which is questionable. Berlanga is not even close in ability compared to Tito, Cotto, or the late Hector Camacho.

Hearn changes like the weather. First off he says AJ should have world title fight after Franklin. Then its someone slightly above Franklin. What, like a top 25 fighter this time?? The nerve to charge ppv money for this nonsense tells you hearn just milking AJ fans until the next defeat.

Sad for AJ. hearn convinced DAZN that AJ was back on track after the Ruiz rematch (Ruiz really didn't show up), and signed that contract making him the key to many of DAZN's hopes for the future. AJ has had "head" issues ever since those big blows to the head.

If AJ doesn't make it all the way back there will be some ugly scenes coming down the road. You better believe hearn is looking very hard for someone who can pick up the slack ... in case the old AJ doesn't return.

That said, a fight between AJ and Ortiz is perfect right about now. AJ needs a quality fight and Ortiz has always been denied by hearn. It would be big for both and fans would want to see it. It's also a good "next step up" fight for AJ. If he's gonna continue, as the DAZN headliner, he's got to fight someone with credibility.
