Franklin was tagging Joshua pretty good, if he could punch even just a little harder. That fight would have gotten really interesting.

Something's not right. A tune-up in the summer with a big fight in December made some sense. Another lengthy spell of inactivity is no good for anyone.

How is it smart to have your guy wait 8 months for another fight? Take a pay cut if that is what it is and have another fight in the Summer. Fight Chisora or Whyte then go for Fury in December.

Judging from his last performance they know it's too risky to take even those fights.

Enough with the tuneups in boxing. The B-side doesnt get a tuneup, they gotta take it like a man. Fighters who've gotten to the world class level should start fighting only world class opponents to see who remains and who goes away. Put him in there RIGHT NOW against the top competition or retire if he cant fight at that level anymore.
Theres no reason to artificially propel and prolong anybody at the top. Let the chips fall where they may, and see whos the real champ.
