Agreed. JMM only lost because of the huge size difference.

Even though he lost the fight he barely took any punishment.

Fight was bull**** from jumpstreet though.

Take away the knock down and Mayweather really didn't do **** to Marquez. I'm not saying Marquez won but it's utter BS seeing all these people going on like he was dominated. Marquez gave him a lot of trouble, even being the smaller blown up man. Mayweather looked like he didn't know what to do against Marquez so he resorted to jabbing, hence not being able to knock Marquez out.

The same garbage was happening in the Cotto vs Margarito fight, I bet Cotto would have won that fight had he not been stopped (by robbery). Margarito was visibly busting Cotto up from round 2 and on, yet the Letterman card was even up untill the 9th or 10th round (or something like that). WTF?

I shut the volume off the JMM vs Mayweather fight and i'm seeing the same thing, a competitive fight, Marquez landing less, throwing more but getting some hard shots in. He lost a decision, i'm not dis*****g that - but no way in hell was he dominated, he put up a good fight.

I think this is why Mayweather kept saying "I felt a bit rusty" or "I can still improve" it's because he felt like he was having trouble with Marquez.

One last thing, when a fighter "smiles" after getting hit, it usually means it hurt. For some ****** ass reason the commentators are acting like Mayweather is just joking around. Marquez said so himself after the fight "I know he felt my punches".

anyways, for those of you who actually read all this I thank you, I expect the typical meat head responses to call me a Marquez nuthugger who's crying over spilled milk. I had Mayweather winning - but not by domination.
sorry dude, but jmm got shut out easy. it was the mismatch that I told you all it was gonna be.

hatton made the rounds hard to score cause he was hugging so much it made it seem like hatton was fighting his fight, but floyd was still getting in the cleanest shots.

                    false.

jmm didn't bring up his speed or power to WW.

pbf was too big. jmm couldn't hurt him at all. I'm not saying jmm would beat floyd, but the fight isn't as one-sided if it was a fair fight.

If this fight proves ANYTHING, its that 90% of the people(idiots) in here believe what the commentators tell them......commentary was so badly on floyds nuts, he was winning rounds, clearly, but he wasnt even doing that great..........marquez was doing a bit better than give credit for (AND COMPUBOX IS CRAP.......HBO SHOULD REALLY SCRAP COMPUBOX, ITS DISGRACEFUL HOW THEY MAKE YOU BELIEVE TWO BLIND WANKERS PRESSING A BUTTON THEY THINK THEY SAW LAND ARE IMPORTANT AND VITAL)

FLoyd kicked Marquez's ass in 2 rounds, 10 and 11....beat him very clearly in like 4 more
and pretty much did enough jabs to the stomach and a n ocassional flashy punch to steal all the rest he won(including the knockdown round which was pretty even before and after the knockdown), along with marquez not being able to land much eye catching shots...if any....but he WAS landing and cleanly-cleanly means that floyd neither turned nor blocked it, not that it was effective so hold your **** *****s-, just messy with no power and non effective)....mayweather missed a ****load when marquez used his upper body properly....problem is floyd would then just go to the body with the jab and land to the very squared up marquez....(though the HBO crew would have you believ he wasnt missing a shot)...................

marquez really had a good gameplan to make floyd look a bit bad....not chase him like a moron, and with his skill, could pull off making floyd miss and **** while boxing......problem is he has always been vulnerable to jabs, body punches because of his stance and style, and floyd has his style sold to everyone so everyone overrates a bit(or a lot) what he does.....
and of course once JMM was tired and desperate, floyd stepped on the gas

floyd won clearly and wide........but this was no schooling.....just another usual mayweather overcautious underwhelming performance, with the flash to wow guillable people who give status too much respect.....

that said, mayweather could really be a much better fighter if he just tried harder...and his conditioning and poise in fighting are incredible, thats what makes him a hard fight for anyone....
