Not even close. Hatton got right in Floyd's chest and controlled the ring action. He didn't land a lot of punches, but he made Floyd change his tactics and step it up a few levels. After six rounds Hatton was arguably even (the judges had it 4-2 Floyd, Ledderman 4-2 Hatton). After two rounds the Marquez fight was over.

Hatton did exactly 75 times better than Marquez did.

It was not a competitive fight at all. It turned out to be a complete mis-match. I had Floyd winning every round.

Although i dont think mayweather really hurt marquez at all other then the knockdown, the fight was clearly all floyd.

Other than the jab Hatton landed in the first and a body shot somewhere around the 5th, he didn't land anything. On top of that he was knocked out in the 10th.

How did Hatton do better? Hatton was getting hit flush every time he attacked.

I'm one of the few guys who really thought Hatton was getting handled from round 1 by Mayweather. Hatton was strong but he was getting hit so much coming in. Marquez got out landed but landed more effective shots than Hatton did. Hatton landed next to nothing. Marquez DID land a few big shots.

in terms of rounds won hatton did better,in terms of causing floyd problems hatton did better
in terms of getting solidly outboxed for 12 rounds marquez just edges that one

Marquez slipped a lot of the big punches, but he got hit with the jab. Hatton took all the big punches.

Floyd himself said Marquez was slipping a lot of his shots.
