Mosley was small and shot. Anyone would fight that version of Mosley. Many did, and Beat him. Cotto was way past his best too and smaller. The last world class win Cotto had before Canelo was at Welter with Clottey. Golovkin was ducked for years until he showed Canelo that he was slowing down and not looking as good i the ring.

As for Floyd... Canelo felt he had to call him out otherwise he thought people would look at him as scared to say his name. But did he really sincerely want the fight? Hell no. The weird thing is, all these Mexicans don't want the fights like that with Americans. They just don't want to look bad by ducking them. They duck other nations though. But with Americans, they feel they have to. It's weird.
    They got from Floyd
floyd never gave his people a shot either

Liam is only fringe level as well. He isn't world class. He's solid. Decent. But no more. That's why Canelo chose him over Charlo and Andrade at the time, even though he was selling PPV in the US. If you're selling PPV in the US, get the names that will sell the most. Not the least which was the case with Liam.
      Charlo
And Andrade still not big names

Benavidez is a mandatory now, so what is Canelo going to do? He will fight another white Brit for the WBO mandatory, but not Benavidez for the WBC mandatory fight. He can't beat Bivol at 175. Now looking for a Charlo fight? Inactive MW.
But charlo Andrade and David aren’t really big names either

The up coming fighters take on the old guard. It wasn’t Canelo’s fault Mosely and Cotto had passed their primes. But neither was ducked and both were tough fights. He was 21 and had had 40 fights by the time he fought Moseley. Mayweather weight drained him and made a smart choice to face him before he hit his prime. Cotto was the middleweight champion and it was Canelo who was coming up in weight. I really can’t be arsed to argue the point any more. Literally everyone in the boxing world knows Canelo’s a deserved future HoF and has one of the best if not the best resume in boxing.
Canelo wasn't coming up in weight. The fight was at 155.

No different than Spence ducking Crawford
blame Floyd for starting all this cherry picking

charlo could of unified with Andrade or moved up to 168 to fight David but he was scared

But the second Benavidez got stripped later that year, Canelo petitioned for his wbc title just 3 days later. Coincidence? When canelo was at 160, he never expressed any desire to be undisputed. There was a black mandatory in charlo at the time and another black world champion with the 1 title he needed in Andrade. You think it’s another coincidence that he then decided 168 was the best way to go where there were 2 white British champs, another white boxer in plant and a low level euro mandatory in Yidilgrim ? Seems like more than a coincidence, wouldn’t you say?

David never tried unifying the division either

never had a chance is extreme. Canelo isn’t as good as some like to hype him up to be. The best version of Charlo definitely had a chance and a better one than angulo, smith , Kirkland, Chavez jr, fielding , Yidilgrim and others.
