Don't know why it is an important fight. Charlo is a MW, has been inactive and has no real marquee wins. All he has is an undefeated record.
Now if he gets a tune up, fights and beats Benavides he will have a very strong case.

Charlo is an important fight? The inactive 160lb champion but the Mexican Monster who will be your mandatory who just got a big win vs Plant is not a big fight? I need y'all to make it make since, the same as Tank Davis saying the winner is Haney/Loma not a big fight.....smdh but y'all mad at Jake Paul.

So it wasn’t an important fight when they were both at mw and charlo was the wbc mandatory but now that Charlo is inactive and has been unimpressive, it’s suddenly important? Foh. They ONLY important fight for Canelo at 168 right now is Benavidez. But in true team Canelo fashion, they’ll likely go the less risky route.

And he will next year. I'll put $500 on it.The real question is while Canelo is fightin Bivil late this year what Wal-Mart worker does Binavidez fight? Because we ALL know he won't risk that Canelo Golden ticket. I'll drop another $500 that Benavidez doesn't fight any under a -1000+ odds fighter next? What u say 2 that?

Late fall Canelo vs. Bivol with probably Bivol being the betting favorite.

Benavidez vs. Wal-Mart guy at -2500. Have to bet $2500 to win $100. Fkn Boogeyman my arse...
