There were several possible dates being considered for the fight in S A. April 29th was one of them.

As a result, the new target is April 29 – Fury’s UK co-promoter Frank Warren confirmed to talkSPORT on Thursday.

If the fight is to take place in Saudi Arabia – as hoped by the promoters – both boxers need to agree terms with the organisers in the host nation

It is known that Usyk has already agreed his deal with the Saudis.

As things stand, Fury remains in negotiations"

Do this do anything for u?
You dont have to hate anything bud, you've given me what I asked for. Its just a shame we had to go the long way about it. In hindsight, I should of specified Wembly in my initial post to avoid the confusion. Apologies for that.

For sure, I don't believe Usyk would of walked away from a Saudi deal, as per the article you kinldy provided, Usyk would of for certain taken that (as the article says he did).

When it comes to Wembley, neither fighter would of made what they truly wanted, hence why Usyk walked away. Greed, as I said originally.

My point stands, Fury offered a silly offer at Wembley and Usyk walked away. Neither wanted legacy, both wanted more money.

          Greed.
He only started saying that after Fury turned down his offer from the Saudis, and it's an obvious, blatant lie.

Back in January, Arum and Warren were talking to the Saudi's, and Arum said they wanted to put the fight on either just before or just after Ramadan, which ended on April 21st. Like I said, Arum is obviously lying through his teeth .. again.

cool, yes its quite comical, i reread the initial stuff

i can easily see how it went off on the wrong tangent with me thinking you were lumping usyk in with fury for the saudi failure and then off it went.......

Yeah, I can certainly see Arum lying about having the fight just before or just after Ramadam, and then lying about the Fury Saudi deal. Promoters do nothing but lie.

                  Look at who promotes Fury.
I used to think that Mayweather fans like you branded Arum the biggest liar in boxing because he was Manny Pacquiao's promoter. Then he assured eveybody- including Eddie Hearn - that there was no way the Fury/Wilder arbitration case could stop Fury from fighting AJ in Saudi if Eddie could get a deal done. Arum is a lawyer with a team of lawyers working for him, so he must have known that wasn't true. But he kept saying it, over and over, while Eddie ran himself ragged trying to get that deal done.

i understand why he moved them. i dont agree with it as a boxing fan because i want to see the fight but i understand why fury did.

fury deserves the higher purse because he's the more notable and more decorated fighter.

Usyk is more decorated than Fury. He's a former undisputed cruiserweight champ and now has 3 belts plus the Ring title at heavyweight. Fury only has one belt. Also, Usyk's last purse was around double what Fury has ever made for a fight.
