Here we have Arum on 16th Feb saying the Saudis cant host the fight. But yet you say it was on...

To quote yourself, "are u saying that those arum quotes are fake?"

From what I can see, there was never a April 29th in Arabia other than conjecture. The only definate was that It was to be April 29th in Wembley. And its for that reason my point stands completely.
you see, your article is quoted as saying the target date for the fight is april and usky we know had agreed terms for the fight but its recently come out from a saudi source that the fight didnt happen because fury demanded too much cash, thats the reason the fight failed, not dates, have u not seen this info on here last few days and do u believe that so?

Still no evidence mate. All you've shown is Gareth A Davies spouting whats hes heard and nothing more, all while continually waffling what you dont even know for fact.
I dont care about your opinion, or your logic, or your thoughts or whatever, show me facts or **** off.

Stop mis-directing, and stick to my point.

Show me where April 29th in Saudi was ever happening, not some BS article from Gareth or Mike C or whoever. You say Arum is quoted, and then show Gareths article with no quote. I show you Arum saying the Saudis wanted it in Winter, and you ignore that fact.

I'll tell you why you cant show me, because APRIL 29TH WAS ALWAYS WEMBLEY.

Sad (funny) thing is, I'm not defending anyone, and here you are making Usyk fans look ******!

Either come back proving to me Saudi on the 29th was an option, or shut up mong.

I did a search on that link you posted, the sun newspaper which u seem to like and found this

"Tyson Fury v Oleksandr Usyk undisputed title fight ‘set for April 29 in Saudi Arabia’… with Wembley back-up option"

Urgh... You literally have not read any of my posts and then you provided nothing of value but continued to argue vehemonetly from a defensive position against someone who wasnt even attacking you. I simply asked for evidence and if you'd kindly show me. But you didnt, and you continued your charade. (Not to put off other posters, I would welcome this evidence if provided, I'm open minded and only seek facts)

YES, ofcourse it has to do with Fury wanting too much cash, see my first post ffs. They're both proven greedy liars as I said all along and is my entire point.

I think were done here Smash, I tried and we got nowhere, and I see no forward momentum with this conversation. I was dumb myself for thinking there could be some. Serves me right.

Finally. My sincere apologies for name calling earlier, its not generally in my characher, and I should have more time for peoples opinions, even if thats not what I asked for.

            All the best Smash.

no need to apologies for name calling ive been called much worse than that, even on here

i think i enjoy a bit of back and forth even with name calling (or maybe especially), just get drawn into it sometimes

i do understand u wanted a quote from arum with that exact date on it, i failed to provide that quote (yet, only joking)

I hate to do this (well maybe i dont) but i found another article that quotes frank warren as saying the target date for the fight is april 29 in saudi.

"Initially the plan was March 4, though a deal wasn’t finalised in time for the bout to happen on that date.

As a result, the new target is April 29 – Fury’s UK co-promoter Frank Warren confirmed to talkSPORT on Thursday.

If the fight is to take place in Saudi Arabia – as hoped by the promoters – both boxers need to agree terms with the organisers in the host nation

It is known that Usyk has already agreed his deal with the Saudis.

As things stand, Fury remains in negotiations"

Do this do anything for u?

why did fury walk away from saudi and then attempt to negotiate a much lesser deal in the uk?

Because Alex Krassyuk was correct in what he said about Fury never intending to fight Usyk this April. That's the only explanation that makes sense.

I just hope the fight comes to fruition at some point, they both need each other for legacy IMO. Which is funny, because Usyks legacy would of been just fine had he not moved to heavyweight. Furys legacy is questionable to start with but would be cemented with beating Usyk.
Yet Usyk accepted a 30/70 split?

How does that make sense if he wanted more than the fight could generate?

The head of Saudi boxing said the fight didn't get made in his country because one guy wanted more money than the event would generate for both of them. We know that guy was Fury, because Bob Arum, his own promoter, was saying back in January that Usyk had already accepted his offer from the Saudis.
