I’m not a Joshua fan by any means, however I agree with him here…not every fight is going to be a knockout! You are going to bump into someone sooner or later that will take you the full distance. But with that said, Joshua just has not looked the same since that Ruiz loss, he is gun shy no doubt about it, we may never see him stop a top contender in the early rounds again,

Hearns matchmaking sucks. Franklins the type of guy you fight to get rds in. What AJ needed was a confidence booster.

Iron mike had 5 KO losses in 56 fights. Bonecrusher Smith had 7 KO losses in 62 fights. Would you say that Tyson had a glass jaw?

Franklin did take some big shots from Joshua and barely looked fazed. He's got a chin. Fans want to see the big KO, especially with heavy weights, but it doesn't always happen.

Yes. When the going got tough, Mike got going. And Smith got knocked out by everyone with a pulse, except for Mike. Let's not pretend that Joshua would not get **** if he went 12 with James Bum Smith. Nash out

This MFer is right on the edge of a mental breakdown. Putting way too much pressure on himself.

Franklin's chin might be tougher than usyks, so why should Franklin go down?

I have to say: I like the points AJ made. I do think he has peaked, and that he is no longer a front runner, but he made some strong points that make sense and kudos to you for making that point.

I think people are responding more to this pattern with AJ where he just seems to not be focused... There is a difference between an opponent that is there to survive... which can make any marque fighter look bad, and an opponent that truly is in the fight. The critiscism is that Franklin was confident and trying to win the fight in the later rounds and not simply trying to survive. However I am willing to give AJ the benefit of the doubt here... Just do not think he is able to fight at the level of Joyce, Wilder, Fury, or Usyk who hit another gear and beat Joshua in the later rounds.

Well Whyte has good pop, so if Franklin is this tomato can that AJ needed to KO, then Whyte should have too.

Fact is, most fans don’t know sh/t about Franklin, not even me, and he may very well just have a good chin.

People acting like they never seen a gatekeeper with a strong chin. They’re littered all over every weight, all the time, throughout history.

AJ KO’ing Franklin in 1 round doesn’t make him ready for Fury or Wilder though. This performance is being nitpicked for no actual reason and I wouldn’t call myself an AJ fan, although i’m not an AJ hater either. I’m neutral on him.

He won, but the reaction to this fight is like if he lost by upset KO in 2 rounds.
