It's never the 12 rounds it's the performance.

The same can't be said of AJ, for sure.
Even those fights took place when Tyson was 19-20 years old! He started boxing in '85. According BoxRec he fought Tillis May 3, 1986, and Mitch Green May 20, 1986! Tyson fought 13 times in 1986! Now that's grinding!

Tubbs & Pinklon were heavyweight champions. That's the reason...

Boxing is 90% mental and 10% physical. We have all been distracted by AJ’s big muscles, (including himself), from his true boxing potential. I would love to see him dominate the heavyweight division without a single KO. AJ as a boxer is completely capable of this. Some people may find this to be boring boxing when you want to see AJ KO an opponent. But how about an opponent that is expected to to KO AJ, and he completely dominates them through boxing? See Holmes vs Mercer. ( Post fight, Mercer is quoted as saying, “I need to learn how to box.”)

Nothing wrong with josh going the distance with Franklyn. Now Franklyn has gone the distance with whyte and Josh, Franklyn is a very good boxer. Tyson fury shouldnt say Josh needs another win to qualify for a fury payday. Beating franklyn is a good win.

He should have brought up Chuck Wepner. He was a part-timer until his famous fight with Ali, took the champ 12 rounds with Ali, then almost made it to the end of the 15th. Admittedly, Ali beat the brakes off him, but still...

Tyson Fury went 12 rounds with Wallin and was busted up real good in that fight.

The important thing for Joshua, is that he achieved his first win in 2 years 'I think the performance, would of been more concerning if? Joshua was busted up and hurt by Franklin'.

Neither of these situations happened in the fight. So what Joshua is stating 'Is correct'.

The performance overall for me was satisfactory 'It was not a great performance, but it also definitively was not a bad performance'.

Joshua needs to realize that most boxing fans are casuals who like to see bums get knocked out.

Nah - he should have just brought up Fury struggling against Wallin for 12 rounds and going the distance with Pianeta. Pianeta makes Franklin look like Ali. Top-70 in the world at the time!
