No, the Pac-Cotto winner will start negotiations for their next fight in the new year. If Pac wins. those negotiations are likely to be very protracted. Mosley already has an HBO date put aside to fight either Berto or Mayweather in January.

At best it would probably take six months of negotiations to make the Pac-Mayweather fight, and it is not certain that it can be made at all, given that both Pac and Mayweather are insisting on a 60/40 split in their favour; and in the meantime Mayweather can fight Mosley in January, which would make the winner vs. the Pac-Cotto winner for all the marbles into the biggest fight since Leonard-Hearns. It is massively in Mayweather's commercial, legacy and every other sort of interests to fight Mosley in January followed by the Pac-Cotto winner after that.
