Mayweather Says Mosley Missed His Chance, Twice

I don't think I've ever heard of a case of where two top P4P fighters are in the same weight division and the one that is ranked underneath the other in the actual weight division (Mosley #1 and Floyd #2) is the one ducking. This takes the cake big time. At least Margarito, Mosley, and Cotto were ranked over Paul Williams when they turned him down even though it is all shady either way. I'm tired of being denied good fights because of pettyness, fear, and politics.

HBO could probably care less about Mosley/Berto. Those greedy ****ers want MEGAFIGHTS. Mosley vs Mayweather is a MEGAFIGHT. Say what you want about Shane, but he is a RESPECTED fighter. The 24/7 of that fight would be absolutely bananas. The ultimate good guy vs the ultimate badguy at 147. I personally could give a **** less about Mayweather/Pacquiao. Manny has unfinished business with JMM and Cotto has unfinished business with a soon-to-be returning Margacheato. Once Cotto abolishes Manny from 147 (yes, Cotto will do away with Manny. Manny doesnt stand a chance), I would be clamoring for him to get revenge against Tony. But there is absolutely NO REASON for Floyd not to fight Shane other than fear. Believe me HBO will put up the money for that fight and he would get way more than the $10 million he got to fight JMM.

Right now the media and networks have pumped up Pac soo much - he is now the Greatest fighter of this generation {???} If he beats Cotto, that would solidify that claim and with Floyd being the Best on the Planet. A fight between the two would be EPIC.

Cotto if he beats {the Greatest fighter of this generation} jumps into the top slot for Mayweather. Arum & purse splits are the only problem from there.

Pac will most likely demand a Mayweather fight prior to retiring and Arum is going to do it. The thing is Manny is UP for Floyd and game to take him on.

The problem with your theory is if Manny annihilates Cotto, which won't happen, but if he does, what does he need Floyd for? He doesn't. He doesn't need to beat Floyd to solidify his legacy. Manny has beat the best fighters available in his weight divisions. Floyd has had a list of questionable opponents for the last 6 years while avoiding the best in the divisions. So Manny doesn't need Floyd AT ALL at this point. Floyd keeps talking about PPV draws and Manny is the only one left. After that, he needs a dance partner that can help sell the fight. Shane is that fighter. Don't believe for one minute that Floyd is gonna be able to do 1 million buys again without a decent opponent. His coming out of retirement helped sell that fight. He wont be able to do that **** again against another fighter he is supposed to beat. If Floyd faces Berto that fight does 400k max. He NEEDS Shane.
