Agree with dan cov 100%. The hate for Haney ( and Usyk) makes no sense to me.

They are doing exactly what fans have said they expect champions to do.

They take bad deals. Fight whoever is available. Have the fights in a tight time frame so they can fight more often. Fight on the road.

Clearly something else is motivating the negativity.

You can throw Inoue on that list too. Personally, I've noticed that when someone new starts getting P4P talk, a certain group of fans (Canelo fans) Start completely ****ting on that fighter as if they view them as a threat to....who knows, they're never even in the same weight class

His daddy don’t help the situation
Same chit happened with Teo Lopez
        Sometimes mum is the word
Usyk it’s the mongol Fury fans who believe he’s the next best thing since sliced bread

True. He may not go on the road as much (imo he shouldn’t given what he and Honda have developed in Japan) but he seeks out the best comp each time out.

Yeah this is getting a bit ridiculous. I could see if these guys were cash cows and pulled a side advantage over all their opponents.

These dudes all do what is necessary to fight the top guys.

There you go. The crying, whining, complaining started. Totally forgetting Lomachenko is just as hated for even very shallow reasons since time immemorial.

These guys just can't take the heat when they can always get out of the kitchen.

Maybe but I still find much of the hate comes for his old man and trickling to Devin himself
Obviously his hit hit clinch style does not help the situation

Not you per say but I'm really not sold on the idea that a good pressure fighter who likes to fight on the inside just isn't a bad style for Lomachenko.
                  I think it’s obvious.

Loma’s 35 with an athletic based style. He’s undersized for the weight class too, so relies on that athleticism to close the gap.

Ortiz isn’t that good too, it wasn’t long before Loma he was going life and death with Adorno.

It’s still a good win, Loma is undoubtedly a top contender at 135 but it’s nowhere near a P4P level elite win like Haney is absurdly claiming.
